BRENT FREIBURGER
Director, Senior Project Manager
As the Director and Senior Project Manager at The Engineering Company Ltd., Brent brings over 20 years of expertise in structural engineering and project management. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering and licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario, Brent specializes in structural and building design, with certifications in Engineered Masonry Design.
Brent’s extensive portfolio includes key projects such as Three Sheets Brewery, Wiarton Waterfront Condo, and Meaford Fire Hall commercial redevelopment, and numerous municipal, aviation, and institutional projects. His professional interests lie in building restoration and redevelopment, engineered wood construction, and ICF construction.
Brent’s career is marked by his leadership in the multidisciplinary team approach, ensuring projects remain on schedule through clear communication and proactive problem-solving. His ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients fosters trust and understanding, crucial for successful project execution.
In 2018, Brent founded The Engineering Company in his hometown of Saugeen Shores, driven by his belief in custom solutions tailored to client’s unique challenges.

Intermediate Structural Engineer
Roger is an Intermediate Structural Engineer at The Engineering Company, with a robust background in construction management and structural design. He holds a Master of Engineering with a specialization in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours from the University of Toronto. Roger brings over 12 years of experience in the construction industry to the engineering team and is a licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario.
Roger has worked on significant construction projects such as the Highland Creek Treatment Plant addition, Toronto Transit Commission Vaughan Metropolitan Center subway extension, Toronto CIBC square tower, and the Darlington Nuclear Plant. His design projects include the Ferguson Plumbing and Heating Warehouse Addition, Palmerston Commercial Buildings, new row townhouse developments, waterfront builds, and various home renovations.
Roger’s work is driven by innovative solutions and meticulous attention to detail. He excels in integrating industry standards with creative approaches, ensuring efficient projects and exceptional results. His ability to build strong client relationships and manage projects with reliability has earned him a reputation for excellence.
